This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, and take ownership of features within the main enterprise integration layer, overseeing everything from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Create event-driven solutions utilizing Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions, in alignment with the overall integration architecture.
• Work closely with the Principal Architect, tech leads, and fellow developers to ensure consistent and scalable solutions across various business sectors.
• Assume full responsibility for assigned tasks, managing them from planning to delivery, with minimal supervision required.
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding progress, obstacles, and technical decisions.
• Advocate for code quality, testing, and CI/CD best practices; engage actively in code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues in a distributed, cloud-based environment using Application Insights or similar APM tools.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of professional experience in software development, with a proven history of delivering complex backend solutions utilizing the .NET ecosystem (C#, .NET 6/8).
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions for creating event-driven, serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with API Management and observability/APM tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, or New Relic for monitoring and troubleshooting in distributed settings.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Strong working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and enterprise integration patterns.
• In-depth understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit/integration testing (experience with TDD is a plus).
• Comfortable operating within a shared-ownership architecture model, contributing to design decisions and technical strategy alongside senior colleagues, rather than solely executing predefined plans.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar) as part of daily activities.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, essential for effective collaboration with our US-based team and stakeholders, and for clearly conveying technical work in business language.
