Senior .NET Developer / Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Lithuania, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and implement backend services utilizing C# and the latest .NET technologies.

• Participate in technical design and architectural decision-making processes.

• Develop integrations with REST APIs, external platforms, messaging systems, and file-based interfaces.

• Maintain code quality through rigorous code reviews and adherence to engineering best practices.

• Provide mentorship to developers and facilitate technical discussions.

• Work with SQL, relational databases, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Docker.

• Create secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

• Collaborate with product, compliance, QA, and various engineering teams.

• Develop backend solutions focused on payment processing within a regulated fintech environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of practical experience with C# / .NET.

• Extensive backend development experience.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, integrations, and distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Experience with Docker and CI/CD practices.

• Understanding of secure and reliable software development methodologies.

• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or a similar role.

• Capability to take technical ownership and mentor other developers.

• Proficiency in the English language is required.

• Preferred: experience in payments, banking, fintech, or financial services.

• Preferred: experience in a regulated or compliance-focused environment.

• Preferred: knowledge of ISO 20022 / SEPA standards.

• Preferred: understanding of clearing, settlement, or payment processing mechanisms.

• Preferred: experience with Azure or AWS platforms.
