Senior Natural Gas Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Utilize advanced judgment and analytical techniques to finalize intricate engineering designs, technical documentation, specifications, and contract materials for gas infrastructure initiatives.

• Strategically plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases alongside other engineering disciplines and project management teams.

• Oversee project progression and performance to ensure efficient production and mitigate issues within critical gas systems.

• Deliver projects within financial and scheduling limits, facilitating dependable and cost-effective gas solutions.

• Offer guidance and conduct technical reviews for junior engineering personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of engineering experience specific to the discipline is required.

• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is essential.

• Advanced knowledge and proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (e.g., Autodesk, Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) are required.

• Comprehensive understanding of 49 CFR 192, ASME B31.8, and other relevant industry codes, along with QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering regulations.

• Capability to design meter and regulator stations is necessary.

• Involvement in professional engineering societies/organizations is preferred.
