This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• The Senior National Account Manager is tasked with ensuring that Galderma meets its revenue, profit, and ROI targets for CVS.
• This role encompasses leadership across all aspects of the sales agency network, managing customer relationships, and fostering mutually beneficial business partnerships as the primary representative of Galderma.
• The Sr NAM advocates for all brands within the Galderma portfolio and collaborates with cross-functional teams to promote efficient and profitable sales with this customer.
• Achieve growth targets established by the Company, while paying close attention to budgets, profitability, promotional expenditure, and profit objectives.
• Serve as both the internal and external leader for Galderma in relation to assigned customer(s) during annual budgeting, the MBP process, or external JBP meetings.
• Lead the Commercial Action Plan focused on the 4P’s (price, promotion, placement, product) for the designated customer and other 3P brokerage partners.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to third-party sales representatives representing Galderma and its brands.
• Collaborate on developing tailored sales plans for each customer to achieve annual targets that align with US and Global objectives, to be communicated through quarterly business reviews.
• Efficiently manage P&L, including customer trade spend rates, monthly brokerage fees, sales agency revenue forecasts, and personal travel and expenses.
• Conduct external training sessions for all agency partners and relevant customers regarding new business platforms, product launches, or other necessary topics.
• Prepare and deliver presentations during account meetings, presenting a compelling, fact-based strategic selling narrative using syndicated data, market trends, account databases, and local market insights alongside corporate templates.
• Leverage industry knowledge, networks, and contacts to identify key decision-makers within targeted retailers and prospective accounts to enhance the presence of Galderma brands.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships both internally and externally to seize business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the 3P Broker to achieve profitable sales for both the customer and Galderma.
• Create and manage promotional plans in coordination with finance and trade marketing to align with brand strategies and advertising initiatives as necessary.
• Partner with demand planning to forecast sales, focusing on both financial production planning forecasts.
• Responsible for understanding and communicating customer-level budgets and spending; oversee deductions and/or invoices received from customers for accounting purposes.
• Exhibit knowledge of the industry, channels, and competitors, and connect with customers to provide fact-based insights about our products and the category.
• Actively seek and secure new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Director to identify process enhancements and new initiatives, assisting in their implementation.
• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required.
• 5 - 8 years of CPG sales experience with a proven track record of surpassing sales targets.
• Preferred: Three or more years of mid-level sales management experience.
• Must be a self-motivated, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in creative thinking and problem-solving.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset that facilitates quick situational assessments and decision-making.
• Experience in developing and executing business plans that exceed anticipated goals.
• Capable of analyzing complex business scenarios, crafting business proposals, and presenting them to senior management.
• Ability to analyze data and observe retail patterns to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Experienced in P&L management and knowledgeable about key line items.
• Proven ability to influence key decision-makers.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and skill sets.
