Senior Multimedia Editor – YouTube, Podcast

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit and produce high-quality long-form YouTube videos and multicam podcast content, ensuring effective pacing, narrative flow, visual consistency, audience engagement, and overall watchability.

• Oversee comprehensive podcast editing processes, including three-camera configurations, audio and picture synchronization, camera selection, timeline management, and final output preparation.

• Develop captivating social media cutdowns from long-form material, including highlights, captioned snippets, short-form videos, and platform-specific assets.

• Execute post-production enhancements such as audio cleaning and balancing, motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, captions, transitions, and branded visual elements as necessary.

• Prepare, export, and optimize content for YouTube, podcast videos, social media, and other distribution platforms while ensuring consistent quality and adherence to brand standards.

• Organize and manage video footage, project files, audio assets, graphics, templates, captions, exports, and editing resources while following established workflows, file structures, naming conventions, and deadlines.

• Collaborate with editorial, content, production, and creative teams to interpret briefs, integrate feedback, identify workflow enhancements, and guarantee timely delivery of high-quality content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Communications, Creative Production, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in video editing, multimedia editing, podcast production, YouTube content editing, or a similar post-production role.

• Proven proficiency in editing long-form YouTube content, multicam podcast videos, and producing high-impact social media cutdowns from long-form source material.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work, including long-form YouTube videos, podcast or multicam productions, and short-form social media content.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable professional editing software, with in-depth knowledge of multicam workflows, footage organization, audio synchronization, and timeline management.

• Demonstrated capability to perform audio cleaning, leveling, captioning, motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and branded visual enhancements while upholding high editorial standards.

• Exceptional editorial judgment, attention to detail, communication, file management, and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production setting.
