This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Create and edit top-notch multimedia content, such as videos, podcasts, animations, webinars, presentations, and digital storytelling materials that align with CRS's fundraising, engagement, and communication goals.
• Develop captivating visual narratives that highlight the human impact of CRS’s mission and work globally.
• Oversee video editing and post-production tasks, which include motion graphics, animation, sound design, music selection, and final asset delivery.
• Provide photography and videography assistance both domestically and internationally as necessary, including gathering content from the field.
• Work in tandem with writers, designers, storytellers, fundraisers, and subject matter experts to create innovative concepts and multimedia products.
• Assess scripts, storyboards, shot lists, and production plans to ensure creative excellence, brand consistency, and impactful storytelling.
• Implement multimedia best practices and new technologies to enhance production quality and audience engagement continually.
• Act as a quality-control resource for multimedia products, ensuring alignment with CRS brand standards and storytelling principles.
• Manage and oversee multimedia asset libraries, archives, and content databases.
• Liaise with vendors, consultants, and external production partners as required.
• Participate in donor engagement initiatives, including Leadership Giving campaigns, presentations, and other strategic communication efforts.
• Collaborate across CRS departments and regional teams to support key communication and fundraising initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production, Communications, Film, Digital Media, Photography, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in multimedia production, video editing, visual storytelling, or related creative fields.
• Advanced knowledge of video production workflows, including shooting, editing, post-production, and multimedia asset management.
• Significant experience creating content across various digital platforms and formats.
• Experience in nonprofit, humanitarian, international development, media, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
• Background in producing donor-focused communications and fundraising content is preferred.
• International field production experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with virtual reality, immersive storytelling, or emerging multimedia technologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Excellent photography and videography skills.
• Experience in animation and motion graphics production.
• Exceptional visual storytelling, editorial judgment, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while upholding quality standards.
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building abilities.
• Understanding of international development, humanitarian response, and global issues.
• Familiarity with donor communications and the development of fundraising content.
• Proficient in using Mac and/or PC platforms.
