This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and implement a real-time signal-processing subsystem.
• Take ownership of the signal-processing subsystem design for a large number of emulated devices.
• Serve as a part of NVIDIA's Aerial team.
• Ensure that the information each cell requires to model interference is efficiently compressed, transmitted, and utilized.
• Collaborate with the propagation engine and RAN stack teams to coordinate the end-to-end simulation pipeline.
• Evaluate design and implementation trade-offs.
• PhD in high-performance computing, computer architecture, signal processing, or wireless communications (or equivalent experience).
• Over 12 years of demonstrated experience.
• Expertise in CUDA kernel design with a focus on memory hierarchy, register pressure, and HBM bandwidth planning.
• Proven history of writing production-quality GPU code that adheres to strict real-time deadlines.
• Ability to construct and analyze data flows across multi-device GPU systems (NVLink, NIC/RDMA).
• Familiarity with OFDM signal processing and the 5G NR physical layer.
• Notable publications that involve GPU-accelerated numerical workloads or real-time system design.
