This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Design, develop, and maintain MuleSoft APIs and integrations utilizing API-led connectivity across System, Process, and Experience layers.
• Create scalable, secure, and reusable integration solutions that support billing, customer onboarding, and platform services.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into effective integration flows.
• Develop and oversee Anypoint Platform components, including CloudHub, Runtime Manager, API Manager, and Exchange.
• Implement and sustain integrations with third-party systems such as Netsuite and Salesforce.
• Ensure high-quality code through testing (MUnit), CI/CD pipelines, and adherence to best practices in integration.
• Monitor and enhance the performance, reliability, and observability of integration services.
• Contribute to integration architecture and design decisions, including transitioning from legacy systems.
• Identify opportunities for reuse, standardization, and automation in integration patterns.
• Mentor team members and advocate for best practices in MuleSoft and integration engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on integration development.
• More than 3 years of experience with MuleSoft.
• In-depth understanding of API-led connectivity, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in designing and building scalable integration solutions and workflows.
• Proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Django, SQL, and Postgres.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and automation of deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
• MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Developer, Integration Architect) are preferred.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Pub/Sub, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge in data transformation (DataWeave) and API security (OAuth, policies) is advantageous.
• Understanding of observability, logging, and monitoring tools in distributed systems is a preferred qualification.
• Experience working in Agile development environments is desirable.
