Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop exceptional motion graphics, graphic design, and video materials tailored for social media platforms.

• Edit short-form videos including reels, stories, advertisements, interviews, event recordings, and branded content.

• Transform raw footage into refined and captivating videos optimized for social media.

• Animate static designs, key visuals, typography, illustrations, and campaign assets.

• Produce content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Telegram, and various other digital channels.

• Modify content across different brands, industries, platforms, formats, and dimensions.

• Incorporate subtitles, sound design, music, transitions, effects, and additional post-production elements.

• Collaborate with Social Media Managers to convert trends, briefs, and creative concepts into compelling content.

• Generate rapid-turnaround reactive and trend-based social media content.

• Ensure effective hooks, pacing, storytelling, readability, and execution designed for mobile platforms.

• Oversee multiple projects and brands concurrently.

• Remain updated on the latest trends in social media, video editing, motion design, and AI creative tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional experience in Motion Design.

• A robust portfolio/showreel showcasing both motion design and video editing skills.

• Advanced expertise in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.

• Proficient knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.

• Comprehensive understanding of animation, typography, composition, editing, pacing, and visual storytelling.

• Strong grasp of short-form and social-first video production.

• Experience in editing diverse types of footage and content.

• Ability to navigate and work across various brands and visual identities.

• Capacity to take full ownership of projects from initial brief to final delivery.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote contractor setting.

• Keen attention to detail and outstanding time management skills.

• Experience utilizing AI tools for creative brainstorming, editing, or production processes.

• Background in entertainment, gaming, sports, lifestyle, or other rapidly evolving consumer industries.

• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.

• Submission of a portfolio/showreel is required.
