Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Indonesia.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation and animation of motion graphics for marketing initiatives, product explainers, social media content, and digital advertisements.

• Conceptualize and produce storyboards, design frames, and animation sequences that align with creative briefs and brand goals.

• Ensure that all motion visuals are consistent, technically sound, and in accordance with BJAK’s visual identity.

• Enhance design quality through creative experimentation, thoughtful art direction, and a focus on storytelling.

• Collaborate closely with Creative, Marketing, and Product teams to transform campaign objectives into motion-driven content.

• Mentor junior motion designers, fostering their creative development and ensuring alignment with project objectives.

• Partner with videographers, video editors, and graphic designers to create cohesive multimedia content.

• Present and defend design concepts to stakeholders, translating complex ideas into clear creative direction.

• Oversee the motion production pipeline from concept through delivery, ensuring efficiency and technical excellence.

• Develop reusable templates and design systems to facilitate future production.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative innovation with timely delivery.

• Troubleshoot issues related to animation, rendering, or visual effects to uphold output quality.

• Stay informed on the latest motion design trends, animation techniques, and new creative tools.

• Experiment with advanced visual effects, 3D animation, and emerging digital formats.

• Continuously challenge creative limits to establish new benchmarks for visual storytelling within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Multimedia Design, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or creative production.

• Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other motion design tools (experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus).

• Strong grasp of storytelling, timing, and visual composition.

• Proven ability to lead creative direction and guide teams toward impactful visual outcomes.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• A portfolio or showreel showcasing advanced motion design and animation work is required.

• Proficiency in English is a MUST.
