Senior Mortgage Originator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Interact with clients to identify their financial goals and assist them through the mortgage application process with meticulous attention to detail.

• Evaluate client financial situations, encompassing income, credit history, and debt responsibilities, to assess eligibility and suggest appropriate loan options.

• Inform clients about diverse loan programs, terms, and rates available, ensuring they can make well-informed decisions that align with their long-term financial goals.

• Work in tandem with internal teams to streamline loan processing and ensure timely closings.

• Uphold the confidentiality and security of client information consistently, complying with stringent privacy policies and regulatory standards.

• Build enduring relationships with clients by providing outstanding service and continuous support throughout the loan process.

• Keep updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to offer clients accurate and timely guidance.

• Engage in business development efforts, networking functions, and community activities to boost visibility and create new business opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience as a Loan Originator or Mortgage Loan Officer, with a proven track record of successfully closing loans.

• Strong comprehension of mortgage lending practices, regulations, and compliance standards.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client-centric service delivery.

• Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with mortgage origination software and tools is preferred.

• NMLS licensing as mandated.
