Senior Monitoring and Observability Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and upkeep of the Zabbix and Grafana systems.

• Develop dashboards tailored to the company’s requirements.

• Engage actively in deployment and implementation projects.

• Create automation processes to implement monitoring metrics in Zabbix through APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to technology.

• Proven experience in executing monitoring projects utilizing Zabbix.

• Skilled in installing and configuring Zabbix Server and Zabbix Proxy.

• Familiarity with cloud monitoring through Zabbix.

• Experience in monitoring network assets, including switches, BigIP, links, and routers.

• Proficient in server monitoring.

• Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization of Zabbix Server and Proxy environments.

• Knowledge of database connectivity using ODBC (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL).

• Understanding of SNMP and SNMP traps.

• Experience integrating with Grafana to create customized dashboards.

• Capable of configuring external messages via webhooks (Microsoft Teams, Telegram, Slack, etc.).

• Expertise in creating on-demand dashboards using Zabbix as the data source.

• Proficient in troubleshooting events generated by implemented tools to support and train the NOC team (Level 1 and Level 2).
