Senior Mobile Developer, React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Developing the OneVest mobile application using React Native and GraphQL APIs.

• Collaborating across various teams to design solutions that balance technical excellence with rapid delivery.

• Leading the technical design and architecture for large-scale features by breaking down complex epics into actionable stories and tasks.

• Continuously enhancing our codebase and developer experience by identifying and addressing systemic technical debt, while adopting improved practices and tools.

• Managing the entire mobile lifecycle, from local development and automated testing to CI/CD and app store deployments.

• Mentoring team members and providing leadership through technical reviews of product stories, along with offering feedback on code and architecture.

• Proactively addressing project risks and dependencies across teams, while resolving complex technical issues and customer escalations.

• Promoting best practices in quality, patterns, tools, and processes to ensure that both OneVest and our platform are scalable for enterprise clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with a strong emphasis on React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Demonstrated ability to architect, develop, and maintain mobile applications at an enterprise scale.

• Experience with FastLane, Expo, App/Play Store, TestFlight, and other tools for build, CI/CD, and deployment of React Native applications.

• Proficiency in designing scalable and efficient front-end architectures that integrate with complex GraphQL microservice backends.
