Senior Mobile Developer, Java/Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain native Android applications utilizing Kotlin.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver superior features.

• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services effectively.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance challenges.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

• Mentor junior developers and facilitate team growth.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in developing native Android applications using Kotlin.

• Strong proficiency in Java.

• Familiarity with Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Hilt.

• Experience in integrating RESTful APIs.

• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns, including MVVM or MVP.

• Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience with testing, including unit tests and automation.

• Familiar with CI/CD tools such as CircleCI or similar.

• Strong capabilities in performance optimization and debugging of mobile applications.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Experience in mentoring junior developers.

• Familiarity with reactive programming (advanced Coroutines or Rx).

• Experience in payment integrations, such as Stripe or PayPal.

• Proficient in UI automation testing.

• Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
