Senior ML Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead enhancements to our internal machine learning training frameworks, focusing on modularization and experiment tracking.

• Modify and refine existing fire hazard detection algorithms to suit new electrical environments and grid configurations.

• Develop and sustain scalable data pipelines that handle high-frequency sensor data and support downstream systems.

• Create dashboards and automated tools to monitor models, detect drift, and manage processes to ensure models consistently meet performance standards.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of our technology stack and collaborate with data science, product, and fire safety leadership to envision and implement enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Mathematics, Science, or an Engineering discipline.

• Over 8 years of combined education and experience in large-scale data analysis and processing.

• Proficient in Python at an expert level.

• Familiarity with a Linux-based development workflow (e.g., git, SSH, Make, shell scripting).

• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, high-paced environment.

• Independent self-learner with strong problem-solving skills.
