Senior ML Engineer, LLMs, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Develop machine learning models from the ground up or enhance existing ones.

• Work collaboratively with the engineering team, data scientists, and product managers on production models.

• Create a roadmap for experimentation.

• Establish a reproducible experimentation environment and oversee the maintenance of experimentation pipelines.

• Monitor and optimize ML models in production to guarantee peak performance.

• Produce clear and thorough documentation for ML models, processes, and pipelines.

• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, while proposing innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with standard machine learning algorithms and their foundational mathematics.

• Extensive hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) in production, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architecture, and agentic systems.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in AWS Bedrock.

• Practical experience in addressing classification and regression tasks, including feature engineering.

• Proven experience with machine learning models deployed in production.

• Practical experience with one or more of the following use cases: natural language processing (NLP), LLMs, and recommendation engines.

• Strong software engineering skills, demonstrating the ability to create well-structured modules rather than just notebook scripts.

• Proficiency in Python and Docker.

• Strong upper-intermediate level of English.

• Excellent communication abilities and problem-solving skills.
