Senior Medical Science Liaison, Neurology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the scientific authority for Dianthus' neuromuscular disease initiatives while fostering robust relationships with key external stakeholders.

• Engage in compliant scientific discussions related to disease state education, clinical data, unmet medical needs, and investigational therapies.

• Collect and relay medical insights to guide Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and future commercialization strategies.

• Assist with clinical trials by facilitating investigator engagement, identifying sites, supporting enrollment, and participating in protocol discussions as needed.

• Represent Dianthus at scientific congresses, advisory boards, investigator meetings, and various external medical forums.

• Aid in the generation of evidence, scientific communications, publications, and educational initiatives.

• Collaborate across functions with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial teams.

• Ensure that all activities adhere to applicable regulatory, legal, and company standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced scientific or clinical degree is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent).

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including considerable field medical experience.

• Previous experience in neurology or immunology/inflammation is highly preferred.

• Proven ability to establish relationships with thought leaders and investigators in neuromuscular, neurology, rare disease, or immunology fields.

• Strong comprehension of clinical research, evidence generation, and scientific communication.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and influencing capabilities.

• Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the designated territory.
