
Senior Medical Science Liaison – Movement Disorders

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and cultivate a team of Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to support pre-launch and launch efforts for ulixacaltimide in the area of movement disorders.
• Build, mentor, and guide a high-performing field medical team.
• Maintain strategic relationships with key investigators, specialists in movement disorders, and other neurology-related stakeholders.
• Convert medical strategy into actionable field execution.
• Propel clinical and account preparedness before and after potential product approval.
• Transform field insights into strategic recommendations that can be acted upon.
• Collaborate across functions with Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Market Access teams.
• Monitor field activities and adjust strategies based on changing insights and market conditions.
• Ensure that all field medical initiatives comply with regulatory standards, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Set and monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact and execution of field medical activities.
• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).
• Background in medical affairs, clinical research, clinical care, or field-based positions within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to interpret, communicate, and convert complex scientific and clinical data into clear, actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong sense of ownership, with the capability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and create impact in a dynamic pre-launch/launch setting.
• Demonstrated success in building and sustaining trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, including investigators and key opinion leaders.
• Experience in gathering, synthesizing, and translating field insights into practical recommendations for cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.
• Willingness and capability to travel extensively (~60–80%) in a field-based position.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing field-based teams, with the ability to drive performance and accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to translate medical strategy into effective field execution and operational plans.
• Experience in influencing cross-functional stakeholders and aligning teams within a matrixed environment.
• Preferred experience in neurology, CNS disorders, or movement disorders.
• Preferred experience within the market access/payor landscape.
• Demonstrated capability to quickly develop expertise in new therapeutic areas and apply insights to field strategy.
• Candidates with previous field-based experience and a proven track record of independently driving scientific engagement, shaping clinical perspectives, and contributing to successful pre-launch and launch initiatives will be considered for higher-level positions.
• Candidates with prior experience leading MSL teams, supporting product launches, and shaping field medical strategy will be considered for the Director level.
