This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main medical point of contact within the designated geographic area.

• Maintain expertise in clinical and scientific aspects of otolaryngology pathophysiology and gene therapy, particularly focusing on standards of care for HCC and CCA treatments.

• Engage in well-informed, compliant, robust, and precise scientific exchanges about our client’s pipeline with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of clinical protocols, outcomes of clinical trials, and associated procedures.

• Develop and monitor engagement plans for KOLs, establishing and nurturing long-term collaborative relationships within the assigned region.

• Participate in medical and scientific exchanges with the medical/scientific community, including advisory boards.

• Oversee ongoing territory management and development activities.

• Handle all clinical program inquiries and unsolicited information requests.

• Collaborate with the R&D Team to support sites and investigators involved in company-sponsored clinical trials as needed.

• Conduct pre-launch profiling efforts for KOLs to deepen product, disease, and scientific knowledge.

• Facilitate profiling efforts for top accounts/institutions to enhance understanding of patient care pathways, including the development of treatment protocols and novel therapies.

• Work in a collaborative and compliant manner with commercial colleagues to ensure that product strategic imperatives are reflected across functions in account engagement.

• Address and document unsolicited requests for information regarding clinical initiatives.

• Provide internal teams with feedback and insights gained from interactions with KOLs.

• Represent our client at medical meetings, covering Medical Affairs’ Scientific Booth and engaging in related activities.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is required.

• At least 2 years of prior MSL experience is necessary, with a minimum of 1 year in rare diseases, oncology (and/or immunology), and knowledge of targeted therapies.

• For Sr. MSL: A minimum of 5 years in pharma and 3 years of experience in rare diseases, oncology (and/or immunology) is required.

• Experience in GI Cancer Therapy is strongly preferred.

• Previous product launch experience is mandatory.

• Ability to interpret and present scientific data effectively to engage KOLs is essential.

• A working knowledge of standards of care for HCC and CCA is desirable.

• Previous experience in sharing scientific content with payer systems is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with NCI Cooperative Groups and Oncology Research Consortiums is advantageous.

• Required ability to present complex scientific, value, and evidence data to payors and/or formulary committees.

• Must be willing to travel frequently (70%) and stay overnight as necessary.
