This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.
• Act as a credible medical/scientific authority, interacting with KOLs and HCPs to enhance confidence in clinical decision-making for rare diseases and Zevra’s products.
• Develop deep, strategic, and long-term partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to be recognized as a trusted collaborator.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of disease states and competitive environments.
• Keep abreast of scientific and clinical advancements in Zevra’s Areas of Interest (AOI).
• Engage in peer-to-peer scientific discussions, providing accurate and balanced medical information.
• Participate in projects and initiatives that align with the US Medical strategy, objectives, and tactics.
• Facilitate conversations with HCPs and potential investigators regarding research strategies and trial participation.
• Represent Zevra at scientific conferences and medical gatherings.
• Provide education to internal teams on disease states, product science, and therapeutic guidelines.
• Assist in publication planning and the development of medical information resources.
• Capture and report HCP medical insights using Veeva with consistency and accuracy to guide medical and clinical strategies.
• An advanced scientific or clinical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience as an MSL or in a similar role in the pharma/biotech sector for MSL level.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for the Senior MSL level.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Clinical expertise in Rare Diseases (preferred experience in lysosomal, metabolic, or rare neurological disorders).
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse audiences.
• Strong business acumen and awareness of compliance.
• Willingness to travel 60–75%, including overnight trips and occasional weekends.
• Valid driver’s license.
