This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Cultivate and strengthen professional relationships with medical thought leaders involved in product innovation.
• Identify and foster peer-to-peer connections with key opinion leaders and healthcare providers in the fields of neurology and epilepsy.
• Design and implement territory strategies that align with Medical Affairs objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize territory opportunities.
• Recognize and communicate clinical and research challenges, insights, and areas lacking data.
• Engage in medical education through on-site presentations, investigator meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and regional gatherings.
• Offer scientific and clinical assistance to formulary committees and payers.
• Lead scientific support for congress staffing, advisory boards, and sales training initiatives.
• Deliver clinical presentations and information in response to unsolicited inquiries.
• Act as a medical consultant for the internal medical information team.
• Connect with investigators interested in conducting investigator-initiated trials.
• Oversee investigator-initiated research, evaluate study designs, and monitor key milestones.
• Aid in patient recruitment for company-sponsored clinical trials.
• Provide guidance on the assessment of new products and technologies for portfolio growth or enhancement.
• A Master's degree in a scientific and/or medical discipline is required.
• An MD, PharmD, or PhD is highly preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison is necessary.
• MSL experience in epilepsy, spasticity, and/or cannabinoid science is strongly preferred.
• Clinical or research experience in epilepsy, neurology, and/or cannabinoid science is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate and maintain relationships within the medical community.
• Exceptional presentation and teaching capabilities.
• Strong scientific and pharmaceutical acumen.
• Current understanding of US legal, regulatory, and compliance standards and guidelines pertinent to industry interactions with healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Proficient in using digital platforms and tools.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must reside within 30 miles of a major airport.
