This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Strategically develop and engage within the designated territory as a scientific and medical authority in GIST and Systemic Mastocytosis.
• Contribute to the marketing strategy by converting complex scientific information into practical clinical insights.
• Assist in shaping strategic priorities in partnership with Medical Affairs and Patient Advocacy.
• Create and execute a territory strategy that aligns with regional business goals.
• Lead scientific engagement efforts with thought leaders, subject matter experts, and healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Establish and cultivate a robust network of experts.
• Facilitate investigator-initiated research and proposals for real-world evidence.
• Support the Market Access team in providing educational programs as necessary.
• Assist Clinical Development in identifying clinical trial sites when required.
• Collaborate with Research and Scientific Affairs to identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Exhibit proactive and innovative thinking to advance regional and corporate objectives.
• Maintain required training and comply with all standards of compliance.
• Develop and execute educational outreach initiatives.
• Support scientific congresses through booth staffing and coordination of meetings.
• Monitor competitive activities and trends and share insights across teams.
• Lead the onboarding process and ongoing training for new team members.
• Promote a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on schedule.
• Be prepared to travel up to approximately 80% within the assigned territory.
• An advanced medical or scientific degree is essential (Master’s or Doctorate).
• Medical professional credentials are preferred (MD, DO, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.).
• At least 7 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical Medical Affairs, including experience with commercial launches.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in hematology/oncology is required; experience in mastocytosis or MPN/MDS, and/or allergy/immunology is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in supporting product launch(es).
• Established connections with KOLs and HCPs in SM and/or GIST are preferred.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in small- to mid-sized biopharma companies.
• Experience engaging with relevant Market Access scientific teams is preferred.
• Strong understanding of healthcare compliance and regulatory standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities and capability to interpret scientific literature and clinical data.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Highly adaptable, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
