This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Build and nurture relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical care sites, and key stakeholders in the designated territory.
• Attain expertise in the therapeutic area, pinpoint educational gaps within the community, and remain informed on advancements through literature reviews and participation in medical congresses.
• Act as the primary and credible source of balanced medical and scientific information for healthcare providers in the assigned area.
• Educate and engage compliantly in scientific exchanges, deliver medical presentations, gather insights, and address healthcare provider inquiries for information.
• Formulate and execute a field territory-specific medical plan that aligns with the broader medical affairs strategy and evidence generation requirements.
• Assist in identifying potential investigators and facilitate their involvement in clinical research projects.
• Represent BridgeBio at significant scientific conferences and external forums, enhancing the company's visibility and impact.
• Drive cross-functional collaborations within assigned therapeutic areas, contributing to the strategic development of medical territory plans.
• Mentor and support fellow MSLs, promoting knowledge transfer and professional growth.
• Act as a regional expert and key advisor to internal stakeholders, aligning field insights with the medical strategy.
• Lead the strategic planning, execution, and post-congress analytics of scientific congresses, delivering executive-level summaries that translate key findings into actionable insights.
• Engage proactively in the creation of content for medical affairs collateral and contribute to strategic workstreams.
• Collaborate with clinical development on research initiatives, which include site identification and investigator-sponsored trial processes as necessary.
• Contribute to the development of scientific and medical content, including slide decks, FAQs, training materials, and other field-facing resources.
• Engage proactively in cross-functional strategic initiatives and workstreams.
• Candidates should possess a PharmD, Ph.D., MD, Genetic Counseling, or other advanced healthcare degrees or relevant experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of medical affairs or field medical experience with a proven track record of high performance is preferred; however, at least 2 years of other relevant clinical or healthcare experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in rare diseases, neuromuscular disorders, or neurology is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills (including networking) are essential for engaging in scientific dialogue with KOLs and researchers.
• Strong teaching abilities and the capacity to present and discuss scientific materials clearly and succinctly are required.
• Demonstrated capability to establish and maintain relationships with industry leaders.
• Willingness to travel 50-60% of the time based on territory size; evening and weekend work may be necessary, subject to business demands.
• A minimum of 4 years of medical affairs or field medical experience with a proven record of high performance is preferred, or at least 3 years of other relevant clinical or healthcare experience will be considered.
• Familiarity with clinical research and the pharmaceutical product development process is necessary.
• Proven high-level organizational abilities, adaptability, and the ability to work independently are required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in project teams, including MSLs and cross-functional groups.
• Outstanding teaching and scientific communication skills are essential.
• Strong relationship-building skills with industry and academic thought leaders are required.
