This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Review and revise promotional content/materials for grammar, punctuation, spelling, coherence, AMA style, and consistency across branded/unbranded, HCP/patient, and digital/print formats.
• Conduct fact-checking, cross-checking, and proofreading of existing content to ensure consistency and/or adaptation for new channels and audiences.
• Verify that changes are accurately incorporated in subsequent versions of materials.
• Adhere to medical, legal, and regulatory guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy with FDA standards, internal style guidelines, client feedback, and brand criteria.
• Assist in the preparation of materials for MLR submission.
• Collaborate with full-time and freelance project managers, account managers, designers, copywriters, and other editors to create a cooperative environment.
• Manage individual brand assignments while providing assistance to other editors as required.
• Participate in project kickoff meetings, hot sheet/status meetings, and team regroup sessions for assigned brands.
• Multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic environment.
• Assume a leadership role in ensuring editorial quality and regulatory compliance.
• Report to the Manager, Editorial.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or life sciences.
• Over 5 years of experience in editing pharmaceutical promotional materials within an agency setting.
• Experience across a variety of therapeutic areas and product launches is advantageous.
• Familiarity and basic proficiency with editorial software and/or AI tools.
• Experience with anchoring/linking in Veeva is a plus.
