This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive the formulation and implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy
• Establish medical strategy and collaborate across functions
• Work together with Commercial, Managed Markets, and Clinical Development teams
• Enhance visibility and understanding of marketed product(s)
• Create a set of medical strategies that are aligned across functions
• Develop a comprehensive Medical Affairs plan with targeted medical tactics
• Lead and manage the Medical Science Liaison team
• Offer proactive support for clinical trials
• Cultivate strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
• Deliver constructive feedback to senior management
• An MD degree is mandatory
• 5-10 years of experience in clinical practice (healthcare provider experience)
• 5-10 years of experience in clinical research, pharmacy, life sciences, or related fields within the pharma industry/academia
• A minimum of 5 years in Global or US HQ/Field Medical Affairs
• Proficiency in biostatistics and epidemiology
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical corporate landscape
• Strong foundational knowledge in scientific and pharmaceutical fields
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to lead and inspire team members without direct authority
• Prior experience in managing Medical Affairs projects during product launches
• Competent computer skills, including word processing, slide creation, and spreadsheets
• Willingness and ability to travel at least 60% of workdays
