
Senior Medical Director, Asset Lead – US Medical Affairs, Hematology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Leads the cross-functional US Medical Affairs team focused on Hematology for the asset; formulates and revises the comprehensive US Medical Plan for the asset, incorporating strategic and tactical plans for medical launches as necessary.
• Integrates evidence generation strategies, including but not limited to medical affairs clinical studies, Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS), and Real-World Data (RWD).
• Develops plans for advisory boards.
• Creates external engagement plans.
• Responsible for scientific communication, including publication strategies, congress presentations, and materials for the US Field Team (FMD, MVO, RMSL).
• Formulates Medical Education initiatives.
• Evaluates needs and organizes compassionate use for the asset.
• Drives the implementation of medical tactics and deliverables, collaborating with relevant medical and non-medical functions as necessary and appropriate.
• Reviews and evaluates pertinent IIS proposals according to the BeOne IIS review process, ensuring alignment with the asset strategy and identified data gaps.
• Prepares for and co-leads scientific advisory board sessions.
• Cultivates and sustains interactions and collaborations with leading therapeutic experts and scientific organizations in the US.
• In close partnership with the GMA Patient Engagement & Professional Societies Lead and the Corporate Patient Advocacy team, proactively supports BeOne's engagement with patients and patient organizations, integrating insights from these stakeholders into all relevant plans and tactics.
• Represents BeOne Medicines in peer-to-peer collaborations with external partners, including in interactions with patients.
• MD, PharmD, or PhD with over 6 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 5 years’ experience and proven success in Medical Affairs and/or the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or clinical research.
• Relevant clinical and scientific expertise in the field of hematologic malignancies.
• Several years of experience in clinical oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing medical plans/tactics and customer engagement strategies.
• Previous experience in launching hematology/oncology products.
• Strong understanding of the entire drug development process.
• Proven history of organizing and leading medical advisory boards.
• Experience in successfully collaborating and operating within a matrixed and multicultural environment.
• Background in working within inter-company alliances is preferred.
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills, along with strong business acumen.
