This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and oversee multi-tier MECM infrastructures, encompassing CAS, Primary Sites, and Secondary Sites.
• Plan and carry out MECM version upgrades, site migrations, and deployments hosted on Azure cloud.
• Create and sustain application deployment, patch management, OSD, and compliance baselines.
• Manage and enhance SQL Server databases for MECM, focusing on replication, indexing, and optimizing query performance.
• Integrate MECM with Intune, Entra ID, automation platforms, and various cloud services.
• Apply DISA STIGs, mitigate vulnerabilities, and incorporate endpoint protection in collaboration with cybersecurity teams.
• Establish and uphold RBAC, boundary groups, and hierarchies for distribution points.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts for MECM administration and reporting purposes.
• Provide Tier III/IV support and resolve enterprise endpoint management issues.
• Document system architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Create scalable solutions that align with business objectives, leading the documentation and design phases.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that solutions adhere to industry best practices and standards.
• Mentor junior team members regarding documentation and design methodologies.
• Over 15 years of relevant experience.
• Engineering background with at least 7 years dedicated to MECM (SCCM) architecture and administration.
• Demonstrated experience in system engineering and SDLC methodologies.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is mandatory.
• Must be eligible for IT Level II (IAT-II) certification as per DoD 8570 requirements.
• Expert knowledge in MECM hierarchy design, including CAS, Primary, and Secondary Sites.
• Expert knowledge in configuring Intune co-management in hybrid environments.
• Expert knowledge in administering Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and PowerShell automation.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and Group Policy integration.
• Advanced skills in SQL Server management and T-SQL query optimization for MECM databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and MECM cloud integration.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, firewall, proxy configuration, and MECM communication ports.
• Experience in applying DoD STIGs, cybersecurity controls, and compliance reporting.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership abilities.
• Capability to create system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and process flows.
• Experience with documentation tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of agile and traditional SDLC methodologies.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Configuration Manager Administrator Associate or Endpoint Administrator Expert.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Solutions Architect Expert.
• Desired: Experience in DoD, federal, or large enterprises with intricate compliance requirements.
