📋 Description

• The MEAL Manager will empower our Delivery team to implement highly effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems throughout our project portfolio.

• Converting programmatic and operational data into clear evidence demonstrating our impact and effectiveness.

• Leading workshops to assist project teams in understanding trends related to technology adoption.

• Crafting qualitative research to investigate how community health workers view biometric technology.

• Partnering with our data science team to develop user-friendly monitoring dashboards.

• Connecting technical outcomes with frontline implementation to foster an organizational culture that emphasizes data integrity, continuous learning, and accountability.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation in the Tech4Dev, global health, or broader international development sectors. Experience in evaluating technology solutions is a plus.

• Demonstrated success in designing, establishing, and managing comprehensive MEAL systems from the ground up, including the development of Theory of Change (ToC) models, M&E frameworks, and data collection tools.

• Proficient in various outcome measurement methodologies. Familiarity with health and nutrition coverage survey methodologies and evaluating the quality of administrative data would be advantageous.

• Experience in commissioning evaluations and collaborating with research and academic institutions.

• Background in cost-effectiveness measures or value for money (VfM) assessments is desirable.

• Proven experience managing field-based M&E teams and ensuring the quality of data collection processes.

• Established ability to conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative data analysis on complex datasets to derive actionable insights.

• Excellent facilitation skills for both in-person and online training and workshop delivery.

• Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to simplify complex statistical or technical reports into clear insights for Project Managers, Partnerships, and Communications teams.

• Strong multitasking abilities, comfortable managing deliverables across multiple overlapping, fast-paced international projects simultaneously.

• Experience utilizing AI tools throughout the monitoring and evaluation process is an asset.
