This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Create and implement the communications and marketing strategy for Raspberry Pi Foundation North America, enhancing its profile and reputation among key audiences.
• Direct marketing strategies and campaigns for the Foundation's US offerings, which include Code Club, Experience CS, and Experience AI.
• Boost awareness, drive demand, and facilitate customer acquisition.
• Formulate and execute the US events strategy targeting partners, school districts, educators, and young individuals.
• Ensure US initiatives align with the global brand strategy and provide the US perspective for future planning.
• Leverage data to assess performance, guide decisions, enhance communications and marketing efficacy, and collect insights for product improvement.
• Lead and supervise a small team of specialists.
• Oversee the US communications and marketing budget, as well as manage relationships with agencies, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with Learning, Customer Success, Product, and Fundraising teams.
• Travel across the USA as necessary.
• A relevant degree or professional qualification in communications and marketing or an equivalent field.
• Extensive experience in a senior marketing position, preferably within the education sector.
• Proven history of developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, demand, and adoption.
• Experience in creating and implementing event programs for targeted audiences and communities.
• Familiarity with US school systems and experience marketing to educators, school leaders, and districts.
• Proficient in using data and market insights to evaluate performance and ROI, making evidence-informed recommendations.
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams.
• Experience overseeing budgets and coordinating with external agencies, contractors, and vendors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization externally.
• Collaborative experience with global or cross-functional teams.
• Willingness and capability to travel across the USA.
• Eligibility to work in the USA.
• A successful background check is required to work with children and young people.
