Senior Marketing Analytics Manager – BI & Data Architecture

📋 Description

• Serve as the liaison between Data Engineering and Marketing Analytics, responsible for designing, creating, and sustaining efficient ETL pipelines and 'Gold Layer' tables in Databricks.

• Create and document semantic layers, data dictionaries, and markdown files specifically crafted to train and empower AI agents for scalable, self-service business intelligence.

• Generate dashboards and analyses to highlight essential business KPIs and evaluate sales and marketing effectiveness.

• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and in-depth analyses to reveal critical insights across various programs and initiatives, facilitating strategic decision-making.

• Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to convert complex business needs into scalable data models and analytics-ready datasets.

• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as the company expands on a global scale.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or other related analytical disciplines.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, or data engineering.

• Proficient in SQL, Python, DBT, and visualization tools (Tableau preferred).

• Practical experience with Databricks (or similar lakehouse architectures) for transforming and modeling large datasets.

• Skilled in building data backends, semantic layers, and structured documentation optimized for AI integration and agentic workflows.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with a background in data analysis.

• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance data transformation, analysis, and visualization processes.

• Experience supporting Sales, Product, or Marketing teams.
