This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop, validate, and implement data strategies for the marketing acquisition team, focusing on budget and performance while ensuring future readiness.
• Guarantee data integrity and adherence to privacy regulations.
• Spearhead the creation and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor marketing effectiveness.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret marketing data from various sources including CRM systems, digital platforms, and sales reports.
• Structure and manage intricate data within Excel spreadsheets to facilitate analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance) to align analytics with overarching business goals.
• Deliver actionable insights aimed at enhancing customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and return on investment (ROI) analysis for marketing initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Senior/Lead Role (prioritizes tasks, provides guidance, schedules work, but does not directly supervise).
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Strategy, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years in marketing analytics or a related position.
• Demonstrated expertise in MS Excel (formulas and advanced analysis), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and marketing platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot).
• Proficient in digital media and direct-to-consumer marketing or similar experience.
• Experience in strategic planning is advantageous.
• Should possess knowledge of digital campaign performance, attribution, and optimization techniques.
• Expertise in understanding consumer conversion funnels is essential.
• Experience with SEO, SEM, Display Ads, Video Ads, Social Media Ads, and Connected TV is required.
• An agency background is preferred.
• Familiarity with Google AdWords, Analytics, and Google Data Studio is desirable.
• Experience with social media platforms such as Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, NextDoor, and Bluesky is preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of website analytics and reporting as they pertain to digital marketing.
• Capability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivots, analyses).
