This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Perform on-site energy assessments for residential homes, including quality verifications, data collection, and diagnostic testing.
• Clearly communicate program details and next steps to customers in both English and Spanish, both in writing and verbally.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers during the assessment process, ensuring a smooth transition to the program team for the remainder of the project.
• Assess customer needs and suggest suitable energy efficiency upgrades.
• Collaborate with the program team and contractors to ensure timely and compliant installation of energy efficiency measures.
• Maintain effective communication with participating customers to evaluate their needs and gather feedback on their program experience.
• Prepare reports for management and clients, documenting market activity and interactions with stakeholders.
• Lead outreach initiatives to enhance awareness and participation in energy efficiency programs.
• Establish and nurture relationships with community organizations, partners, and local stakeholders.
• Represent the program at community events, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
• Conduct targeted outreach efforts to reach Spanish-speaking and underserved communities.
• Formulate strategies for generating customer leads through partnerships and outreach efforts.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in home performance, energy efficiency, inspections, outreach, or other customer-facing roles in a home environment.
• Preferred knowledge of residential building systems, HVAC, and energy efficiency measures.
• BPI certification (or similar) is preferred, or the willingness to obtain it.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing program requirements.
• Reliable transportation is a must, with frequent travel required throughout Clackamas County.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends to support outreach and community events.
• Ability to work in residential settings, including attics, crawlspaces, and various field conditions.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (including THC) prior to hiring.
