This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate in the development and execution of readiness and capacity processes with suppliers of airfoil castings.
• Oversee the implementation of processes with designated airfoils casting suppliers.
• Establish a routine for proactive problem-solving.
• Evaluate the current state and create plans to fulfill global commodity needs over a continuous three-year horizon.
• Create joint operating rhythms and establish technical and executive escalation pathways with key suppliers.
• Conduct thorough assessments of capabilities and capacities throughout the complete supplier value stream.
• Coordinate capacity investments, secondary processing partnerships, dual-sourcing strategies, and risk-sharing frameworks.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Casting Technologists, and Quality teams on tooling qualification and manufacturability.
• Convert demand signals into concrete capacity plans in conjunction with S&OP and Program teams.
• Take ownership of alignment and capacity readiness in relation to long-range forecasts.
• Enhance readiness processes and forecasts for the Turbine Airfoils Castings Commodity.
• Develop action plans and utilize structured problem-solving methods to mitigate constraints.
• Convey supplier constraints within S&OP cycles.
• Manage capacity modeling for suppliers and part families over a 12–36+ month timeframe.
• Maintain action plans for risk mitigation.
• Oversee NPI rate readiness, which includes staffing considerations.
• Build and mentor a high-performing supplier readiness team.
• Define and enhance competencies, training programs, and succession planning.
• Refine standard operating procedures, visual management tools, and tiered operating rhythms.
• Advocate for continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making.
• Enhance SQDC performance, with a focus on OTD, FPY, lead times, overdue items, and cost compliance.
• Provide executive-level readiness updates on action plans and risk mitigations related to ramp milestones.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information requires the status of a U.S. Person: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or an individual granted asylum or refugee status.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, as applicable.
• May be subject to random and reasonable-suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
• Experience in continuous improvement utilizing FLIGHT DECK principles.
• Strong abilities in communication, decision-making, collaboration, analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
