Senior Manual QA Engineer, Pensions Team

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of both frontend and backend features.

• Collaborate with developers and marketers to ensure clarity in requirements.

• Identify deficiencies, suggest enhancements, and refine QA processes.

• Execute basic API testing utilizing Postman.

• Write and execute simple SQL queries to verify data integrity.

• Utilize proxy tools for request and response validation.

• Assist in regression testing for mobile applications as required.

• Take responsibility for ensuring quality across product features.

• Work together with engineers, product managers, marketers, and external partners.

• Contribute to shaping the team's approach to building, shipping, and maintaining quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of manual QA experience with a focus on web applications.

• Strong understanding of test design methodologies.

• Practical experience in API testing and proficiency with Postman.

• Technical knowledge of HTML/CSS, client-server architecture, and basic debugging techniques.

• Capability to write SQL queries for backend logic validation.

• Proficient use of proxy tools such as Charles or Fiddler.

• Excellent critical thinking and analytical abilities.

• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) is preferred.

• Interest in enhancing QA workflows and processes is preferred.

• Familiarity with automation tools or AI-assisted testing is advantageous.

• Previous experience in product-focused companies or marketing-driven environments is preferred.
