This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Oversee end-to-end implementations while advising client teams on best practices to achieve their operational objectives.
• Facilitate client working sessions to establish goals and objectives for their planning cycles, documenting essential segments and metrics that will aid in enhancing their financial planning and analysis capabilities to improve reporting automation.
• Manage multiple simultaneous Adaptive Planning implementations and optimization projects as a solution architect for complex planning transformations, offering expertise on model design, security, reporting frameworks, workforce planning, scenario planning, and governance best practices.
• Direct the client’s implementation in the design, configuration, testing, support, customization, and optimization of their financial reporting, forecasting, and planning system, Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Spearhead the deployment and integration of Workday Adaptive Planning with ERP systems and other platforms.
• Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing reporting and data efficiencies to minimize the time clients spend compiling data.
• Lead sales and business development activities by generating a pipeline, acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and establishing strategic relationships to accelerate revenue growth.
• Mentor and develop team members to meet performance targets, encourage collaboration, and uphold a culture of high accountability.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and resource allocation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, FP&A leaders, Controllers, and Finance Transformation leaders on strategies for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and enterprise performance management.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; a major in accounting, finance, or information systems is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in enterprise performance management (EPM), FP&A, financial systems, or consulting is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Workday Adaptive Planning implementation and advisory roles is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading a minimum of 20 end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations across various industries and client environments.
• A minimum of 6 years of corporate financial accounting experience is preferred.
• At least 3 years of corporate financial planning experience is preferred.
• Consulting experience is required.
• Experience managing multiple projects and client relationships concurrently.
• Previous people management experience, including mentoring and developing consulting teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning model design, administration, reporting, OfficeConnect, Dashboards, and Scenario planning is essential.
• A strong background in financial reporting, financial report systems, and data flows is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to express the business value of systems enhancements or process changes.
• Skill in conveying technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Experience with process improvement and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 20% of the time.
