This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the team in converting advanced analytics, internal data resources, and market intelligence into engaging narratives.
• Collaborate with teams in Analytics, Product, Sales, and Marketing.
• Oversee strategy that is rooted in data analysis and empirical reasoning.
• Utilize Python and SQL to investigate datasets, confirm hypotheses, and extract insights.
• Convert analytical results and model outputs into narratives tailored for the market.
• Formulate industry insights on optimizing the credit lifecycle, adopting machine learning, and understanding regulatory trends.
• Assist in significant strategic sales initiatives by providing analytical context and data-driven evidence.
• Produce executive-ready materials, including industry reports, white papers, and presentations for conferences.
• Work in partnership with Data Science teams to validate assumptions and maintain analytical accuracy.
• Over 8 years of experience in data science, analytics, credit risk, product strategy, or consulting within the financial services sector.
• Expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and visualization libraries) for generating exploratory analyses.
• Advanced SQL capabilities for querying extensive datasets and validating metrics across intricate data sources.
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making, analytics, and the credit lifecycle.
• Experience in interpreting model performance metrics (AUC, KS, lift, stability) and translating them into potential business impacts.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues related to data usage and analytics.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms, credit attributes, scoring systems, or decision engines.
• Background in client-facing consulting, pre-sales analytics, or strategic roles.
