Senior Manager, Technical Product Management – AI Control Tower

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product backlog for the AI Control Tower, ensuring it reflects the most valuable business and technical priorities.

• Oversee the intake process for control tower requests, ensuring that work is evaluated, prioritized, and governed effectively.

• Define and uphold product management processes focused on backlog health, prioritization, governance, and stakeholder alignment.

• Collaborate with business, technical, and functional stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify needs, and sequence work efficiently.

• Establish clear criteria for prioritization based on business value, strategic alignment, urgency, technical feasibility, and resource considerations.

• Facilitate product governance forums and operational cadences to promote transparent decision-making and prompt issue resolution.

• Maintain visibility into backlog status, product decisions, pipeline health, and execution risks.

• Lead cross-functional discussions on scope, dependencies, trade-offs, and release priorities.

• Identify opportunities to enhance product flow, improve backlog quality, and boost overall control tower effectiveness.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure the execution of prioritized work.

• Utilize data, stakeholder feedback, and operational insights to continually refine the product and its supporting processes.

• Implement lean and FLIGHT DECK principles to standardize team operations and enhance execution.

• Guide and develop a team responsible for product intake, backlog management, prioritization, governance, and delivery coordination.

• Set clear objectives, responsibilities, and expectations for the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience, OR an Associate's degree with at least 9 years of professional experience, OR a High School Diploma with a minimum of 11 years of professional experience.

• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical product management, product ownership, program management, or portfolio leadership.

• Proven experience in managing product backlogs, including intake, prioritization, and governance processes.

• Experience collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into structured product plans and priorities.
