Senior Manager – Technical Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the interpretation, application, and documentation of both new and existing accounting standards, while addressing emerging issues across various corporate functional areas.

• Provide direct support for the global financial reporting process related to quarterly and annual financial statements, particularly for Form 10-Q and Form 10-K filings.

• Ensure global consistency and symmetry in accounting practices, policies, key judgments, and procedural protocols across all business units.

• Collaborate with Regional Controllership teams and finance shared services outsourcing providers to coordinate, analyze, and assist with global company audits.

• Utilize complex judgment and interpretative thinking to assess country-level accounting issues and independently create innovative, organization-wide solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in financial statement audit and reporting, gained within a public accounting firm or a large, multinational public corporation.

• A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in a managerial role or higher.

• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory.

• Extensive knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) combined with significant multi-national audit experience.

• Demonstrated capability in navigating complex corporate settings, conducting thorough financial analyses, and regularly engaging with senior management.
