Senior Manager, Fund Accounting & Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Generate precise investor reports that encompass performance metrics such as IRR, TVPI, DPI, RVPI, along with NAV and carried interest calculations.

• Ensure adherence to Invest Europe guidelines and address ad-hoc inquiries.

• Take charge of annual financial statements, including accompanying notes; work closely with auditors, oversee quality and timelines, and conduct risk-focused reviews.

• Examine accounting data, reconciliations, and valuation checks while continuously enhancing our quality assurance processes.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to further standardize and automate processes.

• Assist with portfolio valuations, waterfall calculations, and review capital calls, distributions, and management fee computations.

• Maintain proactive and reliable communication with GPs, LPs, and internal teams (operations, tech).

• Partner closely with the tax team on tax-related issues and ensure consistency between accounting, the tax ledger, and investor reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or controlling (or equivalent) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in fund accounting/administration within alternative investments.

• Strong understanding of local GAAP and IFRS; experience with additional standards (e.g., Luxembourg, US GAAP) and audit experience are advantageous.

• Practical experience with Invest Europe guidelines and a solid grasp of reporting processes.

• High IT affinity; familiarity with fund reporting software and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; interest in project management software is a plus.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, dynamic, deadline-driven, and dedicated to continuous learning.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus.
