Senior Manager – Sustainability

📋 Description

• Take charge of implementing Everlane’s sustainability strategy across vital areas such as climate, water, waste, and circularity.

• Propel progress on current commitments (e.g., Renew, Organic Cotton, reduction of carbon footprint), ensuring effective tracking and accountability.

• Convert overarching sustainability objectives into practical programs, timelines, and deliverables.

• Collaborate with Raw Materials and Product Development to incorporate lower-impact materials and processes into product offerings.

• Work alongside factories, mills, and third-party vendors to guarantee adherence to Everlane’s environmental and social standards.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of vendor compliance initiatives, which include data collection, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement efforts.

• Manage the creation of quarterly and annual sustainability reports, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and clarity.

• Aid in the implementation and management of systems to track environmental and social compliance data.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to support sustainability storytelling, including updates to the sustainability website.

• Partner with Workplace and Retail teams to integrate sustainability practices into physical environments.

• Provide regular briefings to internal stakeholders and leadership on progress and key initiatives.

• Represent Everlane in industry discussions, conferences, and working groups as necessary.

• Stay updated on sustainability trends, innovations, and regulatory changes, bringing valuable insights back to the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in sustainability, corporate responsibility, or a related field.

• Proven experience in executing sustainability programs within supply chain, materials, or product-focused settings.

• Familiarity with environmental and social compliance frameworks and reporting standards.

• Excellent project management abilities with a knack for driving multiple initiatives concurrently.

• Comfortable speaking in large groups and engaging with the media.

• A passion for market research and benchmarking, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest technology and trends in sustainability.

• Deeply passionate about global sustainability and dedicated to making a lasting impact on our climate.
