Senior Manager, Supplier Management Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Oversee governance, performance management, and executive escalation for Segment 1 suppliers.

• Ensure that strategic suppliers consistently provide the anticipated business value, operational efficiency, and fulfill contractual obligations.

• Lead governance initiatives and develop governance frameworks, including Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), KPI scorecards, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting.

• Assess supplier performance against their contractual commitments.

• Utilize data and trend analysis to proactively identify potential supplier risks and performance declines.

• Manage escalations for significant supplier challenges and coordinate collaborative resolution efforts across functions.

• Create standardized reporting structures for KPIs and SLAs that are aligned with supplier criticality and business impact.

• Deliver regular governance updates and provide executive-level visibility into supplier performance for leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in supplier management, vendor or account management, sourcing, operations, or similar roles.

• Proven experience managing intricate enterprise supplier relationships.

• Strong grasp of governance frameworks, supplier performance management, KPI/SLA oversight, and escalation methodologies.

• Excellent analytical skills and data interpretation abilities.

• Experience leveraging supplier performance metrics and reporting tools to enhance accountability and drive operational improvements.

• Proven ability to function effectively in cross-functional and matrixed environments.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to influence at the senior leadership level.
