📋 Description

• Spearhead the development, management, and implementation of the organic social media content strategy for Share Our Strength's brands across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and BlueSky, utilizing both static and video formats.

• Tailor the content strategy to align with key organizational campaigns, socially-driven moments, urgent responses, and platform-specific opportunities as audience behaviors and algorithms evolve.

• Direct and uphold the standards for brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media channels.

• Create and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy that balances brand storytelling with measurable impact and ROI-focused tactics to enhance engagement and awareness.

• Utilize analytics to derive insights, identify trends, and continuously refine the strategy.

• Oversee a team of content creation supporters through a digital vendor to boost capacity and support for social content, managing project workflows that include social media copywriters, app/platform representatives, and production partners.

• Collaborate with colleagues to further Share Our Strength's commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring these values are integrated into the organization and our initiatives.

• Act as the primary rapid response content producer for social-first video materials, including TikToks, Instagram Reels, and live-stream coverage when necessary, bringing an authentic and engaging energy that aligns with the brand's voice.

• Produce and edit short-form social video content by combining relevant news clips, trending audio, and organizational moments into timely, platform-specific formats (familiarity with in-app editing tools, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Express, Slate, or similar is adequate).

• Formulate on-the-ground content strategies for events, travel to organizational gatherings, storytelling content collection opportunities, and campaign activations to capture live content and deliver real-time social coverage across platforms.

• Lead and strategize all organic content creator and influencer relationships in close collaboration with the Senior Director of Innovative Partnerships and Community Growth and the Associate Director of Talent Partnerships to create a unified influencer marketing strategy.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to enhance brand awareness, extend reach, and amplify mission impact, viewing creators as strategic partners and message experts rather than mere channels.


⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent professional and work experience.

• 4-7 years of experience in social media content creation, showcasing a progressive increase in scope and responsibility.

• Proven experience in engaging audiences across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok (experience with TikTok is a plus) with a solid understanding of social media metrics.

• Practical experience with short-form video editing using mobile-first tools (CapCut, Adobe Express, in-app editors) and/or desktop applications; comprehensive video production experience is not mandatory.

• Strong familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, along with a deep understanding of platform algorithms and metrics.

• Experience in managing influencer relationships and establishing long-term partnerships with creators.

• Proficiency in using tools such as Sprout Social, Asana, Keyhole, Facebook Business Suite, and/or Google Analytics is highly preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management capabilities, including sound judgment and emotional intelligence.

• Valued experience in issue advocacy and political campaigns.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior-level audiences.

• Proven ability to work independently on multi-step, detail-oriented projects within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Experience in covering live events for social media planning, capturing, and real-time posting is a plus.

• Genuine interest in anti-hunger and anti-poverty initiatives.
