This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Compliance for Regional Contract Managers in the East as part of a broader National SLED Team.
• This position serves as a working-level manager responsible for overseeing a portfolio of contracts and guiding other Contract Managers who manage their own regional contract portfolios.
• Provide leadership, expertise in subject matter, and oversight to Sales Account Teams, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership.
• Offer daily contract management support utilizing various contract management and tracking systems, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Cisco Webex.
• Conduct thorough reviews of SLED contracts and solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFB) as well as terms and conditions to identify, mitigate, and eliminate unusual risks, non-standard terms, liabilities, and remedies in compliance with Presidio Legal and corporate policies.
• Develop, propose, and implement strategies for contracts and subcontracts.
• Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage complex and/or non-standard government contracts, including the administration of subcontractor flow downs, change orders, inspection, acceptance, payment, warranty, contract reporting, fee payment (if applicable), statutory requirements, contract close-out, and records retention.
• Utilize cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Human Resources, IT Security, Proposal Team, Capture Team, Finance Team, Business Development Teams, and Business Unit Leadership to achieve business objectives.
• Provide guidance on relevant Federal, State, and Local contract and bidding regulations, policies, and procedures within the assigned region.
• Maintain contract records in compliance with all necessary regulations and support all Government mandated contractual reporting requirements.
• Train Sales Account Teams and internal stakeholders on the use of SLED contracts.
• Manage, mitigate, and/or escalate disputes through established dispute resolution processes.
• Support the resolution of payment-related issues.
• Complete company Representations & Certifications for solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFB).
• Conduct internal audits to promote consistency and compliance across the contract portfolio.
• Act as the point of escalation and backup for the East Contract Managers reporting to you.
• Facilitate growth and utilization of cooperative agreements, subcontracts, and contracts within the assigned region.
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining relevant original hardware manufacturer (OEM) brands on cooperative contracts, where applicable.
• Accountable for identifying and initiating requests for equitable price adjustments on cooperative contracts, if applicable.
• Identify contractual gaps in product or service delivery for specific regions or business units.
• Oversee contract data accuracy and assist in report preparation as required.
• Engage in continuous process improvements by identifying, developing, and implementing new contract policies and processes.
• Present contracts compliance and enablement information both virtually and in-person to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate directly with sales management and leadership to discuss strategic contracting opportunities and the most effective ways to utilize existing contracts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Proven experience working with cooperative or statewide contracts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Exceptional spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with managing all aspects of the contract lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within teams in a demanding executive-level work environment.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Over 5 years of experience managing a portfolio of state, local, and education contracts.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• NCMA Certification is preferred.
• Experience with risk management and insurance requirements is beneficial.
• Relevant IT-related experience with customers in the designated region is a plus.
• Understanding of key legal concepts, including indemnity, liability, privacy, security, and technology licensing.
