This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Compliance efforts for Regional Contract Managers in the East as part of a broader National SLED Team.
• Offer leadership, subject matter knowledge, and oversight to Sales Account Teams, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership.
• Deliver daily contract management assistance utilizing various contract management and tracking systems and tools such as Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Cisco Webex.
• Carry out thorough evaluations of SLED contracts and solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFB) along with their terms and conditions to recognize, mitigate, and eliminate unusual risks, non-standard terms, liabilities, and remedies in line with Presidio Legal and corporate policies.
• Formulate, suggest, and implement contract and subcontracting strategies.
• Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage complex and/or non-standard government contracts, including the administration of subcontractor flow downs, change orders, inspections, acceptance, payments, warranties, contract reporting, fee payments (if applicable), statutory obligations, contract close-out, and records retention.
• Utilize cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Human Resources, IT Security, Proposal Team, Capture Team, Finance Team, Business Development Teams, and Business Unit Leadership, to achieve business objectives.
• Provide advice on relevant and applicable Federal, State, and Local contract and bidding regulations, policies, and procedures within the assigned region.
• Maintain contract records in accordance with all necessary regulations and support all Government-mandated contractual reporting obligations.
• Educate Sales Account Teams and internal stakeholders on the utilization of SLED contracts.
• Manage, mitigate, and/or escalate disputes through established dispute resolution processes.
• Assist in resolving payment-related issues.
• Complete company Representations & Certifications for solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFB).
• Conduct internal audits to ensure consistency and compliance across the contract portfolio.
• Act as a leader and be the point of escalation and backup for the East Contract Managers reporting to you.
• Foster growth and utilization of cooperative agreements, subcontracts, and contracts within the designated region.
• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of relevant original hardware manufacturer (OEM) brands on cooperative contracts, when applicable.
• Identify and initiate requests for equitable price adjustments on cooperative contracts, when applicable.
• Identify contractual gaps in product or service delivery for a specific region or business unit.
• Ensure the accuracy of contract data and assist in report preparation as required.
• Engage in continuous process improvements by identifying, developing, and implementing new contract policies and processes.
• Present contracts compliance and enablement information both virtually and in person to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate directly with and lead discussions with sales management and leadership regarding strategic contracting opportunities and the most effective ways to leverage existing contracts.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
• Proven experience working with cooperative or statewide contracts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Exceptional spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with managing all phases of the contract lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams in a high-pressure executive-level environment.
• An undergraduate degree, ideally in Business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Over 5 years of experience managing a portfolio of state, local, and education contracts.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• NCMA Certification.
• Background in risk management and insurance requirements.
• Relevant or IT-related experience with clients in the designated region.
• Knowledge of key legal concepts including indemnity, liability, privacy, security, and technology licensing.
