Senior Manager, Slack Ecosystem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Recruit, onboard, and oversee strategic partners within Slack’s platform ecosystem.

• Foster the adoption of Slack’s platform among firms providing software products and services to enterprises.

• Detect opportunities where platform deficiencies exist and create partner-driven solutions to resolve them.

• Promote innovative business models that generate value for customers while ensuring collective success for partners.

• Manage the entire partner engagement lifecycle: from identifying opportunities and initial outreach to onboarding, activation, and go-to-market readiness.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from Slack's product, platform engineering, AI, and go-to-market teams to align on roadmap gaps and leverage points within the ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or platform strategy—preferably in SaaS, AI, developer platforms, or cloud ecosystems.

• Demonstrated experience in recruiting partners into platform or ecosystem programs and managing these relationships through activation and scaling.

• Strong product insight and comfort with the technical feasibility of partner integrations, including APIs, workflows, agents, and automation.

• Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, MCP (Model Context Protocol), agent frameworks, and the wider AI infrastructure landscape.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a proven history of sourcing, developing, and nurturing partner relationships in rapidly changing markets.

• Strong commercial instincts coupled with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Outstanding presentation and communication skills, including business case development and partner storytelling.

• Ability to structure and assess the quantitative impact of partnerships on the organization.

• Extensive experience leading and collaborating within cross-functional teams (product, engineering, customer success, legal, finance, marketing).
