Senior Manager, SAP CO Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP CO processes and solutions, driving standardization and innovation.

• Participate in the design of solutions for Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Costing, Result Analysis, Project Systems, and Revenue Accounting (RAR).

• Collaborate with business teams to identify new capabilities and utilize advanced CO-PA features.

• Establish process scope, validate necessary customizations, and contribute to roadmap development.

• Lead and assist project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of user stories.

• Identify and mitigate risks, address defects, and eliminate obstacles to ensure timely project completion.

• Work alongside functional and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Create detailed cutover plans and outline test scope for comprehensive end-to-end solutions.

• Conduct FIT/GAP analysis, draft functional specifications for RICEFW, and assist with integration testing.

• Provide ongoing support for cost center planning, allocations, internal orders, and CO-PA assessments.

• Assist the SAP Center of Excellence in upgrades, patches, and integration with new applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 15 years of experience in SAP Controlling (CO) along with expertise in solution architecture.

• Extensive functional knowledge in CO-PA, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Project Systems (PS).

• Strong understanding of Result Analysis, Revenue Recognition, intercompany processes, and CO integrations within service industries across SD, MM, PP, PS, and FI modules.

• Familiarity with activity-based costing, transfer pricing, allocations, and profit center reorganizations.

• Solid comprehension of end-to-end business processes: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, and Record-to-Report.

• Proven experience in designing and supporting revenue-recognition models, including RA keys, WIP, POC, and statutory compliance requirements.

• SAP certification in ECC Controlling is preferred.
