Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Leading initiatives aimed at enhancing the revenue cycle across the organization.

• Managing stakeholder relationship strategies effectively.

• Ensuring the successful onboarding, stabilization, and sustained performance of facilities supported by the Central Billing Office.

• Serving as a senior advisor to revenue cycle leadership teams.

• Reducing stakeholder risk, financial exposure, and preventing systemic process failures.

• Developing and maintaining executive-level relationships with leadership from surgery centers, anesthesia providers, and the Central Billing Office.

• Collaborating with stakeholders to promote trust, transparency, and shared accountability for revenue cycle outcomes.

• Directing communication strategies for intricate RCM challenges, transitions, or changes within the organization.

• Upholding executive responsibility for all onboarding and offboarding activities related to the Central Billing Office.

• Supervising the creation and analysis of revenue cycle KPI dashboards and performance trends.

• Reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes to senior revenue cycle and executive leadership.

• Guiding, mentoring, and developing managers and senior team members.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required; a graduate degree is highly preferred.

• 8–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle, operations, or practice management, or an equivalent combination of education and revenue cycle experience in lieu of a degree.

• Extensive knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations, payer rules, and reimbursement models.

• Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing managers and complex stakeholder relationships.

• Advanced ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

• Demonstrated capability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and facilitate organizational change.

• Outstanding communication, executive presence, and negotiation abilities.
