This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize the company’s shelf analytics and category intelligence tools to evaluate shelf productivity at the store level and pinpoint areas for enhancement in shelf conditions.
• Assess shelf flow, brand blocks, facings, strike zone placement, and shelf availability to maximize merchandising effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Shopper Insights to integrate best-in-class shelf principles into recommendations and execution strategies.
• Act as the subject matter expert on shelf and space initiatives, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and retail partners regarding opportunities, execution, and best practices.
• Evaluate planogram execution compliance by contrasting actual shelf conditions with assigned planograms and recognizing execution gaps at the store level.
• Track real-time on-shelf availability to identify issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Discover must-carry and distribution opportunities by store, region, and market to enhance growth and improve retail execution.
• Collaborate with the GIS team to pinpoint current and future local opportunities, utilizing location-based insights to inform more effective shelf and assortment decisions.
• Lead and mentor direct reports, offering coaching, prioritization, and strategic guidance to ensure effective execution and team development.
• Simplify complex analyses into clear, persuasive recommendations that effectively communicate business opportunities and priorities to customer teams, retailers, and internal stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in CPG, retail analytics, category management, space planning, shelf analytics, or related commercial analytics roles.
• Proven experience in leading direct reports and cultivating high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with utilizing store-level and shelf-related datasets to uncover actionable opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and influence both internal stakeholders and external retail partners.
