
Senior Manager, Retail Merchandising

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of the development and enhancement of store setup guidelines, product initiatives, and brand flow strategies for all store formats.
• Oversee monthly and fiscal week merchandising updates, including Store Mapping Guides and associated deliverables.
• Handle the tracking, uploading, and distribution of guidelines to field teams.
• Perform store visits and execution audits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards.
• Gather and validate store photos, offering feedback and follow-up with field teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for field inquiries regarding merchandising, mapping, and guidelines.
• Develop training materials (guides, videos, presentations) to assist field teams.
• Aid in streamlining and simplifying communications for better clarity and ease of execution.
• Facilitate onboarding and continuous training for store teams and new employees.
• 5-10 years of experience in Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, Operations, or a related field.
• Preferably experienced in a large retail environment (multi-store, multi-format, or specialty retail).
• Bachelor's degree in Retail, Merchandising, Design, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Highly skilled in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Outlook, OneDrive (shared-folder organization), and Teams.
• Familiarity with space planning, merchandising guidelines, planograms, merchandising principles, or fixture mapping tools.
• Highly organized.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Comfortable handling ad hoc and urgent requests with a high level of responsiveness.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to manage processes independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Strong teamwork abilities and proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution at scale.
