Senior Manager, Research & Intelligence

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead the execution of legal, business, and competitive intelligence research for client projects.

• Supervise intricate research requests, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and accurate results.

• Organize and prioritize incoming research tasks to guarantee timely completion.

• Continuously enhance research processes, including intake, triage, execution, and delivery.

• Track service performance while identifying areas for efficiency and improvement.

• Manage staffing, utilization, and workload distribution among research teams.

• Mentor, coach, and develop professionals in research and intelligence.

• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal teams to synchronize research services with technology, tools, and knowledge systems.

• Contribute to the creation of new services, capabilities, and client solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in legal, business, or competitive intelligence research within a law firm or professional services setting.

• Proven track record of managing research teams and overseeing service delivery.

• Strong familiarity with legal and business research tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis, Bloomberg, and other intelligence platforms).

• Experience in managing multiple priorities and delivering results under tight deadlines.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated capability to enhance processes and drive operational efficiency.

• Experience in a client-facing or service delivery role.
